Singles Tournament
The competition, which has an entrance fee of £2.00, will be played over 3 rounds in the following format:
- Round 1 – 8 Venues with 4 qualifying from each giving 32 qualifiers.
- Round 2 – 4 Venues of 8 players each with 2 qualifying from each venue.
- Round 3 – 1 Venue with 8 qualifiers playing to a finish.
All matches are to be the best of 5 frames, with the exception of the final match (to decide winner and runner-up) which will be the best of 7. Referees are optional and it is up to the players involved to decide if they wish a referee. If one player wishes a referee and another does not then a referee must be supplied and this will be the duty of the venue controller to resolve.
All players must sign in at the venue in person by no later than 7:45 PM with the matches to start at 8:00 PM. Should a venue have all available players and the controller and players wish then they can start earlier. Each venue will have a controller, who has overall responsibility to make the draw and inform the match secretary, on completion of all games, the names of the qualifying players. The controller has the responsibility to remain at the event until it is concluded.

About Dundee Pool League
The Dundee Clubs Tuesday Pool League has been running now for over 20 years with its origins in the Social Conveners League. Some years ago the league opened its doors to local pubs as well as Social Clubs to expand the league, and although much has changed and is still changing what has not changed is our commitment to fair play, sportsmanship and our endeavour to foster the game of pool in Dundee.
